規則和指引 (Policies and Guidelines)
Periodical Publication
Journal of Computers (JOC) is published bimonthly in February, April, June, August, October, and December at Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. by the Computer Society of the Republic of China.
Scope
JOC publishes original papers in the areas of Information Science, Information Engineering, Information Management, and Information Systems.
Author Obligations
Submission of a manuscript is welcomed provided that the author bears the responsibility for protecting any proprietary rights or security classification.
Time Frame for Paper Review
The submissions will be processed soon after a paper is received by the editing office. Currently, an initial paper reviewed by editors takes about 30 days in average. For common cases, the processing time for the first-round review of an initial submission will be no later than three months to six months. The second-round review takes about one to two months after the authors submit the revised manuscript.
Submission Format
The official language of the JOC is English. All submissions should be written in English. A manuscript in Chinese will be rejected immediately. A list of keywords is required to describe each paper. And a self-contained abstract should be of more than twenty lines. Template for articles <PAPER_FORMAT_DOWNLOAD>.
Paper Length Policy
A full paper should be more than 10 pages but not contain references. Any submission not follow this limit will be rejected immediately.
Article Processing Charge
A manuscript accepted by JOC through the new submission system will follow the new publication charge policy. The publication charge for each paper overseas will be USD$350. There is an additional USD$50 charge if the length of your paper is over 5,000 words. The publication charge for authors in Taiwan will be NT$ 6,000, with an additional NT$1,500 charge if your paper is over length.
